About Event

The college is the abode of Lord Subramanya Located at Palani, Sri Subramanya College of Engineering and Technology (SSCET), is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University. The college was established by Sri Subramanya Educational Trust in the year 2000 to make affordable higher education available to all deserving candidates. The intent of the educational trust was to take higher education to nearby villages and rural areas thereby helping the students. Over the year, it has achieved remarkable success in doing the same. SSCET offers 6 Under Graduate Programmes and 5 Post Graduate Programmes.

The Institution has excellent, well equipped spacious laboratories, competent faculty members and an active student�s association. Our college has qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty with industrial and research backgrounds. Our faculty members are part of professional bodies such as IEEE,ISTE, CSI, and IETE. Various clubs such as wings Club, Colours Club, Short Film Club, Fine Arts Club and Books Club play a part in show casing the talents of the students. In addition to this, students are made to involve in social activities like eye camps, blood donation camps and Green committees to care for the public. Altogether the campus provides immense opportunity for budding professionals to boost and enhance their skills and outperform their competitors. The Department of Computer Science Engineering & Information Technology involves students to understand the cutting edge in Algorithms, Protocols and Numerical Computations. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering offers premier professional training for the students with an eye on the modern developments in Electronics and Communication. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a deep insight into the discipline and enables promising engineers to acquire high level of engineering skills and competency to meet the challenges in the industry. The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering strives to offers the students & staff with hands -on training on modern technologies as per industry requirements. The Dttepartment of Civil Engineering imparts quality education keeping in mind the recent technological advancement and the industrial requirements, through field visits & interactions with eminent Engineers.
